Consultations

Missed Appointments Limit Availability! We understand unforeseen circumstances arise. However, missed appointments without timely notice limit opportunities for other clients. A $100 fee applies for no shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice.

Consultations are always FREE!

To better serve you, we require consultations to be in person. Your skincare professional can get a much closer look at your skin texture, pores, sun damage, and other factors that might not be as visible on a video call. This allows for a more accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.
Video quality is often not sufficient to identify subtle skin concerns, leading to a less comprehensive assessment.
-
Your SkinWise Rx medical professional will discuss your skincare goals and expectations. We’ll dive into your current skincare routine, lifestyle habits (eg. sun exposure and smoking), and any skin concerns you have (e.g., acne, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation). This is a private consultation to encourage clients to be open and honest about their goals and expectations.
We will examine your skin closely, looking at factors like texture, pores, wrinkles, sun damage, and hydration levels. We may use specialized tools for a more detailed analysis.
Based on the skin analysis and discussion, we will recommend personalized treatment options and product suggestions. This could include facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments or specific skincare products.
Injectables

This risk can be minimized by a skilled injector and proper technique. An experienced injector will use the appropriate dosage of neurotoxin for your specific muscle strength and desired results. Precise placement of the injection into the targeted muscles ensures they relax effectively, without affecting surrounding muscles.

Dermal fillers and neurotoxins can be safely and effectively combined in many cases. Combining treatments can address multiple signs of aging simultaneously. By combining them, you can achieve a more comprehensive rejuvenation effect while creating a more natural and balanced appearance.

Be specific about what you dislike. Explain which areas or aspects of the treatment bother you.
Hyaluronic acid fillers, the most common type of dermal filler, can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is a relatively quick and painless procedure that reverses the effects of the filler.
The effects of neurotoxins typically wear off within 3-4 months.
Sometimes, swelling or bruising after the procedure can temporarily alter the appearance of the treated areas. Often patient to allow some time for the swelling to subside and the final results to emerge is all that is needed.
Pain Management
-
Looking great doesn't have to hurt.
Most aesthetic treatments involve some level of discomfort. We take pain seriously and understand that everyone experiences pain differently. Our medical experts will take the extra time to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.
SkinWise Rx offers several options to control pain including ice packs, topical lidocaine, nitrous gas analgesia (laughing gas) and regional nerve blocks (dental blocks).
-
Some procedures may cause temporary soreness, redness, or swelling. Your SkinWise Rx medical professional will advise you on aftercare steps and pain management options like over-the-counter pain relievers or cold compresses.
-
Following your pre-treatment instructions can help. This might include avoiding blood thinners, eating a light meal beforehand, and applying numbing cream if prescribed.
General

Botox has been the flag bearer for neurotoxin injections for many years, however, there are better options. SkinWise Rx offers several different neurotoxins that we feel offer better solutions and results than Botox, allowing us to more accurately tailor your treatment.

Regardless of age, nonsurgical treatments can boost confidence by helping people achieve their desired aesthetic goals and feel comfortable in their own skin.
Nonsurgical treatments address a wide range of concerns, not just wrinkles and signs of aging. Prejuvenation, acne treatment, sun damage correction, and skin rejuvenation are all popular options for younger patients.
Compared to surgery, nonsurgical procedures are less invasive and have quicker recovery times making them ideal for busy individuals who don't have extensive downtime.
-
There's no single, universal minimum age requirement for receiving nonsurgical cosmetic treatments. There are key factors to consider.
Individuals must be at least 18 years old to consent to medical procedures, including nonsurgical cosmetic treatments. For minors under 18, parental or guardian consent is required for any procedures.
Ultimately, the decision of whether to treat a minor rests with the nature of the requested treatment, its potential risks and benefits, and finally, Dr. Doser.

Skincare products and non-invasive cosmetic treatments both play a role in achieving a healthy and youthful appearance, but they work in different ways and have varying degrees of effectiveness. Your medical professional can discuss this during your free consultation.

The duration depends on the treatment and can be as little as a few days or you may continue to see improved results over several weeks or even months. Your medical professional will discuss what results you can expect during your free consultation.
